Give Away?

Completed Dress from cut and sew fabric

The Flossie's Garden Pinafore cut and sew kit is now available to buy from the Etsy store. (0-6mths)
The kit includes:
One yard of cotton poplin printed with all the fabric pieces printed out ready to cut and sew, with all instructions printed right there on the fabric.
One reel of gutermann sew all thread in white.
Two buttons. (these might differ from the ones pictured below)

The fabric also includes a printed border, so you can make matching bootees, bunting, or anything else that takes your fancy. (I'll be posting some ideas soon, and a tutorial or two.)

The kit costs £22.50 from the Etsy store, and makes a great gift.

Alternatively, the fabric can be bought by the yard directly from Spoonflower, that way you get to choose the fabric it's printed on. I like the cotton poplin, but why not try it in one of the other choices? (just click the photo above of the fabric or the linkie over there to the right)

Or how about entering this give away for a kit?
Just leave me a comment here, telling me who you'd like to sew this little dress for, or who you'd like to gift the kit to.
For a second chance of winning, please comment, like and share on our Facebook too.
This give away will be open for one week, closing 31st August, and a winner will then be chosen at

  1. Hi Jeanette, I'd love to be able to sew this for my friend, Kerry. She has a beautiful 9 week old little girl called Jessica. She would look adorable on this! Jen x

  2. Hi Jeanette, I'd love this for my friends little girl, Gracie. She's only a few weeks old and had a rough start with a week in special care. I'm meeting her for the first time next week.
    Hannah x

  3. Ahhhh...I think we both know who would get this if I soon to be born neice (if it is a nephew, there are some other baby girls around in the family....could be the kick I need to start sewing properly...or maybe it should actually go to someone talented who won't make a mess of it! Would it be possible to stitch it by hand do you think? I might make a better job of that...Haha Xxx

  4. I know a lovely, cute baby girl this would be perfect for! ;-)

  5. Thanks for the chance! I would make it for my friend who is having a little girl.

  6. Oooh I can finally enter something!!!!! lol :D

  7. Don't enter me Jeanette, but I wanted to say how cute this is.

  8. I would make it for a friend's soon to be born little girl, and add the left over to my hexagon quilt.
Lovely fabric Jeanette and can not wait for tutorials!
    Off to share on fb!

  9. Oooh! I'd love this for our little rainbow baby. It's been a 7 year wait ... but the joy of a girl again after all these years!

  10. I would make the dress for my niece, Isabel, who was born very prematurely at 26 weeks and has survived against terrible odds. She is now the grand age of 9 months and just fitting in 0-3m clothes. Rosie xxx

  11. Lovely fabric and a beautiful kit! My baby Caitlin would be a little too big by the time I sewed it so if I win please send it to Rosie above for her neice Isabel. She sound like she deserves it :).

  12. I would like to win it for my cousin, who is heavily pregnant with her 4th. She doesn't have time to make anything any more!
